straight from the super bowl (well, first, we had to take the van back to our house- it was full of retro 101 stuff- and get our little pirus) we headed south! jon had a week full of radio promo (short for promotion) and i said “umm, if you are going to florida then i’m going with you.” not really… i didn’t say that, but we both decided it would be fun if the two of us went and made a week of fun in the sun (while jon worked a little bit)
there was a lot of driving involved, but we had a great time. i would drop jon off at a radio station then went looking for a good coffee shop (or mall) to waste a couple hours… it wasn’t a waste though- it was perfect. i had a few good books to catch up on and it was great to relax …
while we were in florida we saw our good friends the Macy’s, ate yummy food (more on that later) and felt some warmth… here are some pics of the first part of our week…
(got my nails did one of the afternoons- loving this color right now. (L’Oreal only 4.99)
moxie’s cafe in tampa (i seem sad in this picture, but i wasn’t. i was working on my serious pose i guess)
had a little tire problem – stupid nail… don’t worry jon fixed it.
God is good.
